Building up children through the power of music

‘Build it Up Music Therapy’ is a mobile practice supporting the development and wellbeing of young children throughout Eastern Melbourne, including the council areas of Whitehorse, Maroondah, Manningham, Yarra Ranges and Knox City.

Our company primarily focuses upon delivering regular music therapy group programs to local preschool centres and primary schools, typically on a weekly or fortnightly basis. However, we also offer private sessions to families of young children accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), as well as facilitating one-off workshops and training events to consult childcare centres, kindergartens and primary schools on how they can implement music therapy strategies on a daily basis. 

Our practitioners have over 15 years of combined experience in childhood education settings and early intervention. At ‘Build It Up Music Therapy’, we are passionate about using the evidence-based strategies of music therapy to support speech and language, social communication, emotional regulation, motor skills, and cognition across all contexts. More than just a fun and creative service, our Registered Music Therapists are highly trained and have the ability to effectively respond to the needs of families, childcares, kindergartens and schools.
